A brilliant reconstruction of an old farmhouse dating from the 1950’s in Switzerland. Proximity to the road called for a grid that from up close filters light and views/privacy but from afar appears impermeable. Allowing for passive light and energy and protection from south western sun exposure, the horizontal wood slats create a vibrant facade and echoes the agricultural barn-like setting. Interiors are again, wood and simplistic clean lines throughout.
